Our Lay ministers

Lay Ministers are people in the Church of England, from all walks of life, who are called by God and licensed by the Church to preach, teach and lead worship. They can also be authorised to assist our Clergy Team in pastoral and other duties.

Paul DraysonPaul Drayson

Paul has been a member of St Margaret’s since 1987 and served as a Lay Minister since 1992. Paul lives in Trottscliffe. As Lay Minister, Paul regularly leads and preaches in our Sunday Morning services of Worship

Stephen Hodges

Steve has been a member of St Margaret’s since xxxx and served as a lay                       Stephen Hodges         Minister since xxxx. Steve & Claire live in West Malling. Steve plays bass guitar in our worship band and as Lay Minister he regularly leads and preaches in our Sunday Morning services of Worship

 

 

Pete WilsonPete Wilson

Pete has been a member of St Margaret’s since xxxx and served as a Lay Minister since xxxx. Pete and his wife Helen live in East Malling and both are part of our worship band. As Lay Minister Pete regularly leads and preaches in our Sunday Morning services of Worship

Our Churchwardens at St Margaret’s

Graham Halliday-SadlerGraham Halliday-Sadler

Graham has been a Churchwarden since 2015. He is married to Christine, who runs our music group, and they live in Addington. Graham is responsible for the fabric of the church buildings and, also, looking after the clergy of the parish. Graham is also our Churches together in Malling representative.

John Humphrey

John Humphrey

John has been a Churchwarden for as long as he cares to remember.
He is married to Brenda and they live in Addington. John also manages and maintains the Addington pages of this website. Along with Graham, John is responsible for the fabric of the church buildings and, also, looking after the clergy of the Parish.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officer

Nicola BudgenNicola Budgen

Nicola has been a member of our church since 1990 and has served since 2001 as our Parish Safeguarding Officer. Nicola takes a lead on ensuring that St Margaret’s is a safe place for everyone. If you ever wish to ask a question or raise a concern, you can phone Nicola on 01732 846749.
