About our services

11.00 on Sunday (Twice a Month)

Birling worshipThe main morning service takes place fortnightly at All Saints at 11.00 a.m. on a Sunday.

We are a small church of 10 to 20 people, with all ages represented and an evangelical tradition. In all of our services we seek to worship God and make known the good news about Jesus Christ as he is revealed in the Bible, which is at the heart of our teaching and preaching.

Our style of worship is relatively informal and we seek to include all ages in all that we do. A music group leads our singing and we follow along with a short service sheet of songs and prayers. We aim to include children and young people at each service with a short talk or task.

Birling worshipAlthough things occasionally change, every month there’s a fairly regular pattern of styles within our worship.

  1. On the first Sunday, we host “Family Communion”. One of our ordained Ministers is always with us to lead the service and celebrate the Eucharist. The service lasts about an hour and is relatively informal with Biblical teaching.
  2. On the second Sunday of the month there is no service at All Saints.
  3. On the third Sunday of the month, we host “All-Age Family Worship”. We gather for about an hour for an informal service with biblical teaching and interactive activities to include all the family. Sung worship is led from the organ and/or piano and music group, and refreshments are served after the service.
  4. On the fourth Sunday of the month there is no service at All Saints.
