St Mary's Choir 2022-23

About music and the choir

St Mary’s has resounded with music for nearly a thousand years. Our church has developed and maintained a tradition of nurturing and promoting good choral music. That tradition continues today, and we hope you enjoy exploring the music pages of our website to find out more.

Voluntary Singers

St Mary’s Church Choir is actively recruiting additional singers to join our existing choristers. If you would be interested in contributing to our choral worship on a regular basis, please email the Director of Music via our Contact Page.

Junior Choir

St Mary’s is proud to run a thriving Junior Choir called the St Mary’s Treblemakers. Treblemakers is open to all children over the age of 7 and membership is completely free. To find out more, please take a look at our Junior Choir page.

Choral Development

In September 2021 we embarked on an exciting new phase of our choral development, offering four choral scholarships and one organ scholarship. We will be soon recruiting for our 2024-25 Scholars  If you would like to discuss applying for a scholarship or offering your financial support to this initiative, you can find out more elsewhere on this website.
