Congratulations to Elizabeth, one of the Choral Scholars at St Mary’s, West Malling who recently WON the district round of the Rotary Young Musician of the Year in the Solo Voice category! She now goes onto the National Finals.
Elizabeth has been one of our two female voice scholars at St Mary’s since the start of the 2022-2023 academic year and is now in her second year with us.
We know Elizabeth was a talented singer before she came to us but we’re so delighted for Elizabeth and so pleased to have been a small part of her continuing journey in singing. The Choral Scholars programme has enabled her to gain valuable experience, and while the singers have benefitted from the superb tuition that is provided to all the scholars, we can’t say that we aren’t enjoying the fruits of their efforts too!
