SUMMARY:D-Day 80th anniversary
DESCRIPTION:To mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day\, there will be special events taking place at St Mary’s in West Malling. \nPrior to 11 o’clock\, a bell will be tolled eighty times to mark the 80 years since the 6th of June 1944 and the start of the liberation of Europe. Then you are welcome to gather with us at the West Malling War Memorial before 11 a.m. for two minutes silence\, followed by a short service of Christian prayer with historic reflections from 1944.
